Double Check saves time and money by eliminating hand keyed data entry and the resulting errors associated with hand keying. Double Check allows you to count only the items and locations that you select. For public storage warehouses this means that you can perform an auditable inventory for just one client's items.The Double Check solution is based around Intermec's proven 241X handheld unit and barcoded inventory control tags. This hardware and software solution makes physical inventory and cycle counts fast and accurate. The package includes a Unitec PT630 handheld data collection terminal, charging / communications cable, and software that transfers the inventory count from the terminal to your computer. This .NET application connects directly to SQL Server 2000 (or MSDE) and seamlessly integrates portable barcode data collection into this popular Point of Sale solution. QuikPhys. is currently in use at several retailers and a major California HMO. Cost for the complete bundle is $995.

DeltaOne Software, a Microsoft Business Solution Provider, released version 1.0 of its Great Plains interface. This initial release supports the "Stock Count Entry" transaction, other transactions are currently in beta testing. The software provides a quick and accurate means of performing cycle counts and physical inventories without having to key in every lot, serial number, and bin quantity. QuikWgt 2.0 is now available. QuikWgt, DeltaOne Software's solution for handling catch weights in refrigerated warehouses, now supports Microsoft SQL Server. With the Mad Cow scare and calls for greater product traceability, QuikWgt can now maintain months of detailed shipment information. With QuikWgt, you can quickly determine who received what lot, date code, FDA establishment code, or case serial number.
